The Need

HED, a national integrated architecture and engineering firm, has recently undergone a concerted growth effort to expand their firm geographically, across new industry sectors, and through the acquisition of seasoned design talent. As a part of this effort, a strong need for broader brand recognition in their staid markets and their new ones became clear. And to top off the challenge, the firm was also in the midst of a name transition from its former name, Harley Ellis Devereaux.

the solution

After conducting a thorough communications audit and strategic planning effort with our collaborative partner, Kira Gould CONNECT, the Curated Communications team embarked on a long-term media relations effort. Integrating a mix of editorial coverage, contributed articles, thought-leadership content, project-centered, and people-centered content, our team has been able to create an ever-growing print and digital media presence in our first year of work. With efforts ongoing, we are working to help the firm clarify its unique perspectives within each of its key market sectors, develop spokespersons from all sides of the business, and improve their rankings amongst their national, integrated A/E peers.
