HOLMES STRUCTURES MARKET RESEARCH

The Need

National structural engineering firm Holmes Structures was considering an expansion into a new geographic region but needed more than just their “gut” in order to decide where to root themselves. Considering several options in the Pacific Northwest, data was needed to decide between such booming urban market options for this new regional office as Vancouver, Portland, or Seattle.

the solution

Working as a consultant to the Cameron MaCallister Group, the Curated Communications team crafted a thorough research package to help the firm in evaluating these location options. We collected recent data findings such as populations trends, economic insights, industry insights, historical construction spending, and market predictions for future years ahead. This data was then presented to the Holmes team for their consideration. The firm ultimately decided to open offices in both Portland and Seattle.
