The Need

Property management company Mission Rock Residential had been in business for just 5 years when they had the opportunity to provide their first-ever new community lease-up package. With the daunting task of securing renters for 285 residential units in a new, luxury apartment community in South Denver, they knew they needed to build some buzz around the property in addition to their more traditional digital, television, and print advertising methods.

the solution

The Mission Rock team decided to bring in their long-time media relations partner, Curated Communications, to help tackle this lease-up project through the securing of in-market editorial media coverage. Designed to attract more eyeballs to the property, the effort included the release of two press releases, a media alert, and the invitation of reporters to the property to receive sneak peek tours of the new development. With several of the first renters attributing their visit to the articles they read online, the campaign was deemed a strong success for the property management team.
